Jonathan Ems, at press time, hasn't slept in days and probably doesn't know where he is. His life has been a cavalcade of social confusion and sexual anxiety (or vise versa). Sharing that confusion with others through literature has been his only coping mechanism since childhood. He lives in Portland, Oregon, where he is a constant embarrassment to his children.
